Food Skills Programs

Good Food Tuesdays and Lunchtime Wednesdays are our food skills programs where people come together to share recipes and ideas, learn new skills, cook lunch and eat together.

Most Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, our kitchen is abuzz with activity as our Food Skills Coordinator leads a group through a menu planning and cooking class that’s always peppered with some nutritional information. Participants are encouraged to share their knowledge and adapt the recipes to their tastes and dietary needs. Our goal is to give people the inspiration and skills to make more healthy meals from scratch, and offer an inclusive educational social activity.

Programs are either short duration or run for four to eight consecutive weeks. People interested in participating should contact Kim Watt at (250)354-1633 or
